April madness

Well Mummy Tree markets took on the Gold Coast. The atmosphere was devine, the stalls were amazing! I had the best time. Was one of my most successful markets. I took the new card range and they flew out the door....

And not far behind the gift wrap

I took the opportunity to have a girls weekend so shopping and champers were a must. Luckily mummy tree don't visit monthly :)
Creating is on a slight pause with the three kidlets at home but the old thinking tank is still ticking over. Been seeing loads of gorgeous posters on Facebook so last night I made my own....

Have a safe and wonderful Easter everyone. The kids and I are packing to head off with our extended family tomorrow, can't wait xx

Wow

So much happening it's exciting! March saw Mummy Tree markets again, very successful day. I got to experience the Georgie Girl phenomenon. People were everywhere and news reporters from 7 and 10 were there to capture it. Tina is amazing, managed to secure a dress for my youngest.
I'm working on an amazing French themed nursery for a client, can't wait to share. This baby is so lucky her nursery is to die for.
Only a week and a bit and we take the markets to the Gold Coast. Can't wait and after collating the best buys catalogue I know there will be amazing stalls ;)
My latest find at Coles- how cool is this, can't wait to let the kiddies loose.

Another find was this great score from a Highfields shop, something to feed my doily obsession. Thinking what I can create with them and wondering whether to share??

I've decided my little home business needs to diversify. I'm now selling gorgeous papers, frames, gift wrap and cards just like this one. Oh to have a paper store...... One day

Does anyone else struggle with filling a fussy eaters lunch box, this is how I sent my sons lunch this week:

PS. it didn't work, but I tried

Thank god for applications

For someone that ummed and arghed about an iPhone I now know I can't live without it. I'm outside with my little girls and catching up on the blog.
Feb saw me return to the Mummy Tree markets... Love love love
See the new tower pic bottom left... Finally made something for my bedroom. For those who were looking for larger size frames this could be the one.

I have also sourced higher quality frames, hardwood. Yes this has meant a price increase but I'm confident you will still find us affordable.

The new year has also seen the release of new papers and my order just arrived now.. Excited much

Here's a glimpse of a new frame in action

So where to from here.... I'm now looking at stocking in store. One I'm very excited about is the new and amazing Be prepared to be amazed!!

wow

really...where does time go?
I'm so excited to start a new year... each day more and more ideas filling the head.
I'm so proud of where Ravissant got to in six short months and I ticked off alot more goals than I expected to.
I did a market - I was so scared, I loved it!! I've gained so much self confidence and achievement, it amazes me.
As I created my first piece for 2011 the other day I was reluctant fearing I wouldn't enjoy it as much - but I still had it, the tingle was there and I adore it!
You can't stop me now and there are loads of exciting things planned for this year.
I've just completed my first wholesale order and its about to be sent to Adelaide...what a buzz!!
So this year ...what will it bring, I can hardly wait to find out
Already the orders are rolling in...I think we are in for a busy year!!

the no cook, no fuss...play dough

thought I'd share this with you...

1 cup plain flour
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1/2 cup salt
food colouring
1 cup boiled water

mix dry ingredients in bowl and add rest to boiled water, pour into mix and allow to cool.
if mix is sticky roll in a bit of flour
I store mine in a sealed container in fridge for ages - well till Miss Abbey wrecks it!
I've stocked up on home brand ingredients so we can make it whenever and if its thrown out its not such a big deal

organised??

I use to be such an organised person pre-kids...so much so I think it affected my health. So I let that slide but I can't handle disarray. Slowly slowly I'm building myself up to an acceptable level of organisation. Not sure the hubby is happy with all the changes - ask him how many times I move things around!!
Started an addiction to blogs which has lead me to the most amazing finds - i heart organizing and the organised housewife
From there I've amended my routine & meal plan list to this:

By framing it you are able to use a whiteboard marker to tick off duties and write menu each week - I have 2 boxes for menu planning as our kids are the world's fussiest eaters! I'm impressed - just have to put it in to practise now!!!
